This year's San Diego Comic Con is going to be packed with incredible Tomb Raider events, including a large Lara Croft cosplay gathering. Between Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th June, fans can experience a wide range of activities celebrating the series, as well as getting a glimpse into what lies in store for our heroine.
If you're not planning to attend in cosplay, there are plenty of Tomb Raider sessions taking place throughout the show, but the real highlight will be the gathering on the Saturday which allows fans to meet with the people behind the game, see the demo and attend the panel.
If you're planning to attend SDCC in Tomb Raider cosplay, you might want to attend the show on the Saturday. Crystal has arranged an exciting action packed day for all Lara cosplayers in attendance. Read below the full schedule of what you can expect!
Throughout the event, Crystal will be showing fans the new gameplay footage for Rise of the Tomb Raider. Make sure to head over to the XBOX booth for your chance to check out Lara's latest adventure.
XBOX Booth Opening Times:
For US residents! The Xbox Lounge will feature 20 new custom Xbox One consoles, and you can win one of them! To celebrate the convention, there is a special Rise of the Tomb Raider design on display. Follow the official Xbox Twitter or Instagram account and share a picture of the Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox One console. Make sure to include the hashtag #XboxSweepstakes and #SDCC for a chance to take one home.
Camilla Luddington (Voice and Performance Actress of Lara Croft) will be signing autographs for an hour on Friday with a surprise artist!
There will also be special items given away to the first ten people in the queue. So if you want a treat, make sure to arrive early.
On Saturday there will be a special panel which explores Lara's previous and upcoming adventure. Panel guests include Brian Horton (Creative Director), Meagan Marie (Senior Community Manager), Camilla Luddington (Voice and Performance Actress of Lara Croft), Earl Baylon (Voice and Performance Actor for Jonah Maiava) and Rhianna Pratchett (Lead Script Writer). The panel will be moderated by The Nerdist's Jessica Chobot.
At the moment, it's unclear how many seats are available, so make sure to get there early for a chance to attend!

Tomb Raider Cosplay Gathering (Saturday 11th July!)

10:00 - Meet on the second floor balcony outside the XBOX section. All cosplayers will receive special merchandise.
11:00 - 11:30 - Tomb Raider demo, just for fans who attend the cosplay gathering.
11:30 - 12:30 - Exclusive interview session with Rhianna Prachett (Lead Writer) and Camilla Luddington (Voice and Performance Actress of Lara Croft)
11:30 - 13:00 - Access to the green-screen photobooth set up for Tomb Raider cosplayers at the event.
15:30 - Meet at room 25ABC for entry into the Tomb Raider panel. (NOTE: San Diego Comic Con badge required for entry into convention center.)
17:00 - 18:00 - Rise of the Tomb Raider panel. (See below for details!)
20:00 - 22:00 - Special night time photoshoot. Location will be announced on the SDCC Tomb Raider Gathering Facebook Page, HERE.
