Crystal Dynamics have teamed up with Epic Games and Alliance for a special Tomb Raider and Fortnite crossover kicking off this week.

Lara Croft is back and ready for a very different adventure. She is joining Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, sporting three looks and armed with extra goodies. Fortnite is a free-to-play cross-platform game available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and Windows. It offers multiple gameplay modes including Battle Royale, Party Royale, Creative, and Save the World. For Lara's latest outing, we're going to be focusing on Battle Royale and Creative.

To unlock the adventurer in Battle Royale, players will first need to purchase the Chapter 2 Season 6 Battle Pass for 950 V-Bucks (approximately $10). Once you unlock the pass, you can collect XP through Weekly Challenges which builds up to unlock in-game outfits. Once you've unlocked an outfit, it is yours to keep!
New Outfits & Gear

So, what about those aforementioned new looks? Well, for the collaboration, the studios have created three character models for Lara, celebrating the three versions of the in-game character we've seen over the past two and a half decades.

Survivor Lara. The first unlocks at level 15 of the Battle Pass and features the heroine in her survival gear (as seen in "Tomb Raider" 2013), in addition to the Survivor's Pack Black Bing (featuring rope, quiver, and simple drawstring bag.

Anniversary Lara. If your favourite Tomb Raider is Legend, Anniversary or Underworld, then the Anniversary Lara Outfit might be more your thing! The outfit features Lara in her classic look and sporting a braid, but with a modern twist. The look is unlocked at level 22 of the Battle Pass.

Classic Lara.  The third and final outfit is the Classic Lara Outfit and the Backpack Back Bling. Inspired by the original Core Design games and promotional renders, the outfit will become unlockable by completing specific Battle Pass challenges throughout the season.
There's also plenty of other Tomb Raider themed items available through the Battle Pass too, including: the Pry Axe Pickaxe (unlocked at level 16), the Spelunker's Special Contrail (unlocked at level 17), the Evasive Maneuvers Emote (unlocked at Level 18), and the Salvaged Chute Glider (unlocked at level 20), along with a banner, spray and emoticon.

Croft Manor

From March 23rd to March 31st, explore Lara's home in the "Mystery of Croft Manor" in Fortnite Creative. (If you're reading this after the campaign has finished, enter code 0116-9392-3142 to jump onboard.)  Players who complete the experience will uncover a secret code leading to a new rare Tomb Raider-themed Spray that you can use elsewhere in the game.

Official Synopsis: Winston, the Croft family's trusted butler, has informed Lara that there are strange lights and effects coming from within the Manor. You must travel to the depths of this harrowing home and uncover its mysteries with your squad.
