[30th July 2021] Gaming Heads was back with a new announcement rceently as they revealed the next statue in their Tomb Raider line-up!

Their Angel of Darkness figure is the fifth in a set of six which originally celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the franchise. The announcement came during the Angel of Darkness Community Livestream as Meagan Marie (Senior Community & Social Media Manager at Crystal Dynamics), Neha Nair (Tomb Raider's Community & Social Media Manager) and Jonell Elliott (Lara Croft Voice Actor) revealed the first look of the latest statue.

As with all Lara Croft statues in the collection, there are three variations of the design.

The Standard Edition features Lara with both dual weapons drawn and pointed directly in front of her. She is dressed in her Angel of Darkness gear with a black crop top and camoflaged shorts. As the statue is designed to be the back figure in the set of six, the heroine is standing on a stone pillar which matches her more gothic look. Built with polystone resin, the statue measures at almost 17" (43cm) high and weights 2.8kg, so you're sure to get in a quick workout while you assemble the piece! Pre-orders have begun with the Standard Edition statue priced at $389.99 with a $38.99 non-refundable deposit. There are 1500 of this version that will be produced.

While similar to the Standard Editon, Gaming Head's Exclusive Edition has some major differences. In this verison, the statue comes equipped with sunglasses, along with two different customisable arms. One of the arms holds Kurtis' Chirgai with the other holding one of her dual pistol upwards. The website also states that each statue will also come the arms from the Standard Edition, allowing the owner to choose which set to use. As Lara's arm reaches further skyward in this version, the statue measures at 18" (45.4cm). This version is limited to 500 statues worldwide, with a pre-order price of $389.99 and a  non-refundable deposit of $38.99.

The final version is the Collective Edition, which is the unpainted Exclusive Edition with the additional arms. The statue is the rarest of all versions, with only 50 made worldwide. It's also one of the trickiest to find after they are sold out. The Collective Edition is available for pre-order at $349 with a non-refundable deposit of $34.99.
