Ex-Core Design Developers Launch "Dream Cycle" On Steam [Early Access]

[September 7th 2021] If you're looking for new adventures, you might want to check out the newly released "Dream Cycle" by Cathuria Games!

The title has a number of familiar names working behind it including Toby Gard, the creator of Lara Croft, and Nathan McCree, the original composer for the first three Tomb Raider games.

Inspired by a series of short stories of the same name, written H.P Lovecraft, "Dream Cycle" follows the story of Morgan Carter, "a modern-day arcane apprentice". The game has just been released in Early Access on Steam (starting September 7th) and shows exciting gameplay filled with stealth takedowns, transformations, and platforming.

Gard and McCree's latest adventure is fantasy game at heart, designed to allow the player to use stealth, traps, spells, illusions and weapons to take down the corrupted enemies. On the brink of death and trapped in the Dark Realms, you play as Carter, tasked with tracking down your "legendary Great Great Grand Uncle Randolph Carter in order to take back her power, thwart his plan to become a God, and bring light to the [corrupted] Dreamlands."

The team also promises that they are sticking with Carter's journey for a while to come with "new realms will become available, introducing new biomes, additional story chapters, weapons, enemies, skills, and powers" being planned in regular updates.
