Thank you for visiting our brand new site, Positively Tomb Raider!
I wanted to create this project to help inspire and welcome new and old Tomb Raider fans, and to spread positivity in the community! Over the past few years, things have felt increasingly heated within the fandom, and it seems to be spreading with phrases like "toxicity" unfortunately used on social media. With the series having deep ties to many fans childhoods, fond memories or recent impacts, it's hard to separate the heated moment with their love of the series, and I've spoken to many people who have struggled with the atmosphere to the point where they felt forced to abandon the series they held dear to them for their well being.
This is where I wanted Positively Tomb Raider to step in.
Positively Tomb Raider is a site dedicated to all things good in the Tomb Raider community, both old and new. This could be beloved moments from the games, articles about fond memories, shoutouts to charity campaigns or community work, or advice to become an ambassador (if you decide!). We're hoping to be the BoredPanda of the Tomb Raider online-universe. So far to start, we got permission to use some of Guns and Grapple's archive, with additional help with the site's look, but we hope to extend this collection with our own work very soon.
While this blog is targeting all the positive things in the community, we have to make clear that we're not the only site. The fandom has an incredible selection of fansites, some official others not, and we look forward to sharing with you our love for these fellow projects.
