It's 30th April! We've been around in the Tomb Raider community since 2008, but today actually marks Positively Tomb Raider's first anniversary! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us; sharing articles, getting in touch, and being so lovely these past twelve months.
Positively Tomb Raider began as a project to help create a space in the community beyond heated forum debates and preferences, and which specifically looks at the inspirational and amazing projects taking place in our community and on the official side. Over the past 365 days, we've focused on charity marathons, ambitious fan films, new releases, gorgeous artwork, and looked at steps into how to not get overwhelmed by your hobby. Writing for the site has been a wonderful escape from everyday life, and looking ahead, I'm excited about the article ideas, milestones, and fan projects coming up. We're not planning on going anywhere just yet.
To celebrate the first year, I wanted to do a quick giveaway; I recently bought Tomb Raider Anniversary (2007) and Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft (1998) on The Humble Store (yay portion for charity!) to give away to two wonderful fans. As it's through The Humble Store, they are Steam codes.
Why those two games? Tomb Raider III was the reason I became a Tomb Raider fan. It's a title that means a lot to me, so I wanted to share my love for that game with more people, whether you've played it before but don't have access to it on a modern device or you're new to the community. With Tomb Raider Anniversary, it felt appropriate to celebrate the anniversary with the brilliant game of the same name.
How to enter! I wanted to keep things simple, so to enter, all you have to do is get in contact and let me know which game you're interested in. (You can also choose to enter both giveaways). You can let me know by responding to THIS post on Twitter or THIS post on Facebook or by sending me an email at positivelytombraider(at)gmail(dot)com. The winners will be randomly selected from the list of entries.
Giveaway closes next Tuesday, 7th May 2019 at 18:00 BST.

1. This competition is not sponsored by Crystal Dynamics or Square Enix.
2. Maximum of one entry, per person, per game.
3. This is open worldwide, but restrictions may apply on countries with limits on internet competitions.
4. Entry is free.
5. No cash prize alternative will be available.
6. You must have a Steam account to enter so that the prize can be sent to you. (Setting up an account is free, and you don't need to have one at the time of entry, but you will need it to play the game.)
A new winner may be picked if the first does not respond to the email after two weeks. Although this is only a last resort after three weeks with reminders and alternative methods of communication e.g. through social media posts.
7. Competition begins today (30th April 2019 a 16:00 BST) and will end next Tuesday (7th May 2019 at 18:00 BST).
8. Please note that this is an unofficial competition and is not connected to Crystal Dynamics, Facebook, Twitter, Steam or Square Enix.
9. There will be 1 (one) winner who will receive a copy of Tomb Raider Anniversary on Steam, and 1 (one) winner who will receive a copy of Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft on Steam. The game is rated +12, and to legally enter, you must be able to play the titles.
10. Entries collected through Facebook follow the rules stated on 23rd August 2013, HERE.
