Tomb Raider Marathon is back again this year with "Tomb Raider Marathon IV" and the team is hoping to bring their campaign worldwide! They are on the search for fellow community members across the globe, to join them on Twitch next month to help raise money for a worthwhile cause, HelpHopeLive.
The team are looking for Twitch streamers who are available between 3-8th May, 10-15th May, 17-22nd May or 24-29 May. If you own a webcam and have prior experience hosting livestreams, that's an additional bonus! TR Marathon IV's deadline is 21st April, so if you're interested, make sure to sign up using the Google Doc form before this Sunday to join the amazing broadcasting team.
The charity at the centre of Tomb Raider Marathon IV is Help Hope Live. Founded in 1983, the Philadelphia-based charity (US) helps provide assistance and fundraising support for medical costs uncovered by insurance. They help financial things such as medication, medical equipment, home healthcare, wheelchair modifications, physical therapy, treatments, medical travel, temporary relocation, and emergency living assistance. Annually, the charity helps over 3,000 families, and in their 35 year history, has assisted 3,900 patients in receiving transplants, and improved the quality of life for over 1,300 patients with injuries ranging from spinal cord to brain injuries and major illness.
Over the three and a half decades, they have also help fun over $131 million for unmet medical expenses.
Tomb Raider Marathon has already raised a staggering $5,526 since 2017, for organizations such as Direct Relief and Help Hope Live. Last year we spoke to Matt, about creating Tomb Raider Marathon and selecting Help Hope Live as his charity of choice. You can read our full conversation here!
