[8th May 2021] Last month, Meagan Marie (Senior Community & Social Media Manager at Crystal Dynamics) sat down with three Core Design developers who were instrumental in bringing Lara's earliest adventures to life. They are Gavin Rummery (Programmer), Richard Morton (Designer), and Jamie Morton (Game Tester & Designer).
Initially scheduled to release in March to celebrate Crystal Dynamics' celebration of Tomb Raider II, the interview got postponed until April due to the health of the key individuals behind the anniversary celebrations (we hope you're feeling better Meagan and Neha!). Technical issues also further delayed the video and complicated the editing. However, despite all the hurdles along the way, the interview is now out and available to watch on YouTube.

As there were some technical issues, the first thirty-six minutes features stills of the four developers accompanied by gameplay from Lara's first three adventures. After the thirty-six minute, the livesteam resumes as normal, with all four speaking to each other and views via their webcam.
The interview lasts over ninety minutes and is packed with questions about how Lara Croft was first created, the atmosphere at the studio, how each developer got started, their approach to designing a sequel and a lot more. There is also a community Q&A closing out the broadcast.
