To help spread positivity in the community and to get fans talking about what unites them, this month, Chris Carpineti began a brand new podcast called Raidercast.
The new series is set to explore the myths, monsters, and mysteries of the Tomb Raider franchise, and touch on the experiences that made us fans, as well as our memories of the games.
The first episode is now out across a wide range of platforms including Spotify, Anchor, RadioPublic, Breaker, PocketCast and Google Podcasts, and delves into Chris' personal story. In the recording, he describes how he grew up with the series, from hanging out with his brother in a detached caravan playing on the original PlayStation, through to meeting his partner and traveling to the Shadow of the Tomb Raider press events. He also talks in-depth about each Tomb Raider title and his reaction to them, and while he clearly prefers some games to others, he breaks down his personal reactions while talking about the other sides.
While the debut episode has just launched, Chris is already gearing up towards the release of the second which features a phone interview with Shelley Blonde, the voice of Lara Croft from the original Tomb Raider title.
If you're a frequent follower of community activities, Chris' work is likely to be a familiar sight to you! In addition to Raidercast, Chris (also known online by his username, Illucifer) is also a contributor to fellow fansite, Survivor Reborn, and the creator of the beloved Talkthrough Tomb Raider. We're so excited about his new adventure and eagerly awaiting the second installment of the series.
